here are some shots from a doc i started on power plants in meigs county, ohio and the effect they have on the landscape and people living in the area. i have only shot once so far and will not be able to get back to it until january when in come back from cleveland. these photos are of a kids playground across the river from two coal powered power plants. they are in west virginia and the playground is in ohio. the town plans to build two more plants and since they are on a different side of the river, they are considered in a different epa zone, but in reality, the town will get double the amount of air pollution than before. meigs county has the highest cancer death rate than any other place in ohio.
