it was a beautiful day on the last day of april. clear skies, sunny, perfect temperature, and i was inside prison. and i realized, that the inmates here only get to look through bars to the outside, and if they are lucky, go out into the yard for a little bit, being watched my guards. prison has been a very humbling experience for me. it has made me think about a lot of things i take for granted and dont even think about every single day. like being able to go outside, unsupervised, whenever i want. the people i have met from this project are amazing. they are not all bad. and ive had some really interesting and somewhat profound conversations. its not what i expected when i started this project, but im really glad for that.
